The Project is situated on the eastern flank of the Sierra Madre Occidental mountain range. It can be found on the Instituto Nacional de Estadística, Geografía e Informática General Carlos Real Topographic.
La Preciosa is a development stage mineral property, hosting one of the largest undeveloped primary silver resources in Mexico, and is located adjacent to Avino’s existing operations at the Avino Property in Durango, Mexico. The property covers an area of approximately 1,134 hectares and is located on the eastern flank of the Sierra Madre Occidental mountain range.

Covering 1,134 hectares on the eastern flank of the Sierra Madre Occidental, it hosts one of the largest undeveloped primary silver resources in the country. The property has benefited from more than 1,500 historical drill holes and nearly $90 million of investment by prior operators. Avino acquired La Preciosa at a fraction of this historic spend, making it one of the most strategically valuable additions to the company’s portfolio.
Unlike earlier open-pit development plans, Avino is advancing La Preciosa with an underground approach designed to reduce dilution and highlight the strength of the deposit. Recent drilling has confirmed silver grades significantly above the 200 g/t silver equivalent figure used in historic estimates. With permits in place and development activities underway, the acquisition represents a disciplined, strategic addition to Avino’s growth plan — strengthening the company’s asset base while maintaining its long-standing commitment to financial discipline and operational focus.
